Geocache Description:

A regular traditional cache in a bird watching tower at the end of Majantie.

To find this cache during summertime, you either need to go Majantie from end-to-end, (just like I have done thousands of times by walking, cycling, two different mopeds (Monkey and Suzuki PV50 - I know what I'm talking about ) and a few different cars), or then you have to use a boat and approach from another direction. During wintertime you can ski across the lake or the river. The ski tracks usually go just by the tower.

The cache is in the tower, which was built 2003 next to the boat harbor which is not much older. Before that this area used to be completely untouched. Now there will be new houses just nearby. I used to play around here a lot in my childhood, so I just had to put a geocache here . The views from the tower are nice so I'm sure you won't be disappointed. If you have extra time, take binoculars and/or something to barbecue with you. There's a public fireplace just by the cache.
