Geocache Description:

The caches in the Nona France Recreation Area are available from 7:00am - Dark.

This is one of 7 geocaches I placed in the Nona France Recreation Area in Whitehouse. This area used to be a large quarry and now displays exposed Devonian rocks. The quarry has not been active since circa 1929.

It's now home to the "unofficial" Whitehouse Sledding Hill, which is composed of rocks piled up from the quarry to make a manmade hill.  It's very fun in the wintertime, however you must climb up the steep side of the hill to get to the "bunny slope" on the other side, and making that steep climb hauling sleds and small children is not very fun...trust me.

I didn't place any caches on top of the hill but if you feel inclined, climb the incline and enjoy the nice scenic view of Whitehouse.

It's a Moops container with some goodies for kids cause kids get disappointed with micros.     Have a great time hunting all 7!
