Geocache Description:

The cache is located in a Washburn County Forest. The area is good for snowmobiling, hiking, cross country skiing, and hunting. The area has been managed in order to provide suitable habitat for grouse. Grouse "drum" in order to attract a mate. They do this by rapidly beating their wings, making a "druming" sound. They do this in the spring while perched on stumps and logs.

A short, easy hike is necessary to find this cache. The cache consists of a camoflauged, painted , plastic container filled with trade items. Be sure to wear orange during deer season. The cache is winter accessible.
