Taft's Playground is a sweet little park in the center of Woods Hole, a good spot for families--swings, a ballpark, volleyball, and a large climbing structure. The area is surrounded by salt marsh and you can follow a nice loop trail from the point the cache is hidden. Depending on the season, though, that trail may be muddy. And watch for poison ivy in the summer.
If your GPS unit has games, the big field is a good place to play them.
This cache has been vandalized and subsequently replaced by other Friendly Geocachers, so be sure to hide it WELL after you find it.
There's a parking lot next to the playground at the end of block-long Bell Tower Lane, just off Millfield Street. At the intersection is an lovely enclosed garden surrounding the bell tower right on Eel Pond Harbor. Have fun!
