Geocache Description:

This event is a meeting to prepare for the “HOT POTATO GAME” which will begin on December 7, 2005.

All geocachers who wish to participate in the HOT POTATO GAME should attend this meeting. We will review the rules and the scoring system. We will choose the teams at this time and we will determine the playing field boundaries. NOTE: There may be more than two teams.

If you aren’t aware of the upcoming HOT POTATO GAME, this will be your opportunity to get all the information you need and decide whether or not you wish to participate. The game is open to the young, the old, families, singles and beginning as well as experienced geocachers. The amount of time and effort you expend while the game is being played is entirely up to you. There are no requirements or obligations if you sign up. Its a team game.

The meeting will be held in a Bettendorf Public Library meeting room. The meeting room is reserved for one hour only, from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM on December 6th. If additional time is needed for this event, we will adjourn to another location, to be determined at that time. When you arrive at the library, ask the receptionist for directions to the Quad Cities Geocachers meeting room.

If you cannot attend the pre-game meeting and wish to participate in the Hot Potato game, please log your intentions. You may also e-mail Hunt&Peck or IowaBeaver with this information and receive your team assignment.

Lets see how many we can sign up to have some fun.
