Location for this cachemass Party is the Shakeys on Foothill at 3463 Foothill Blvd, La Crescenta, CA 91214. Their telephone number is 818-248-7100 just incase.
Party will begin at 5pm and go till ?
This is hopefully the start of a yearly get together for all the geocachers that would like to attend.
We will have a white elephant gift exchange. To participate in this you just need to bring a gift. The gift does not have to be bought. Just pick something that a geocacher might want from around your house that your not gonna miss and wrap it up. If you bring a gift you may recieve a gift. Family's are welcome and may bring one gift per family, unless you want to bring more. (meaning if you have 4 people in your family you can bring one gift for the 4 of you, or if more of your family memembers want to participate your welcome to bring more gifts).
We will also be discussing how people do different types of caching like paperless vs. paperfull. We will welcome some of the new cachers in the area, and have a Best Cache in the Area Award.(YOU MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN..so if you think you got a good cache from Pasadena to burbank then you should come) You may place your selection for Best Cache in a jar and the Cache with the most votes will win a prize. So hopefully all the geocachers who have a cache in our area will be there to see if their cache wins.
We hope to see you all there on Friday the 16th of December at 5-? we decided 5 to allow everyone to get off of work, go home and get thier other cachers.
Please RSVP below, and bring money for your Pizza and games that are there for the kiddies :)
as of 12/4: Some people have expressed intrest in doing some caches before or after the event..so were trying to get some together but for thoes of you who haven't found our caches SEARCH FOR CACHES PLACED BY BRIANK124...we have placed a bunch in the past 2 months...we are trying to get some new ones up before then...bear with us!
