Sitting On Top Of The World Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Los Nidos Hawks: It was there. Someone put it back where it originally started out but the hiding spot is begining to fall apart. Since this was placed to introduce everyone to a small out of the way memorial park we were disapointed that it turned out to cause so many people so much frustration. It seems like the new park and grab is a more popular way to go versus the old fashioned ammo can in the woods. So we have decided to archive this one to prevent any future confusion or frustration. Thanks to everyone who did our cache.

Geocache Description:

Suggested parking is at, N 40 36.368 W 074 29.849

This should be an easy cache that will introduce you to a new township park that features a special 9/11 memorial constructed entirely from private donations. It is a quiet contemplative place to go to escape everyday life. There is a ball field, tennis courts, and a small play ground with plans for other improvements in the near future. In general it is a nice place to bring the kids, walk the dog, or read a book on a warm summer day.
The cache is located in a wooded area that may challenge your GPS but will put you within the general vicinity. From there the hiding spot will be very obvious.
We started this 30 caliber ammo can off with items of interest to all along with some memorial money. For the first to find there is a wrapped gift up for grabs.
