Geocache Description:

CONGRATULATIONS to MarinerFan for being FTF. The Bagram Memorial Challenge of Afghanistan is a Multi-cache that will familiarize you with fallen Americans of Operation Enduring Freedom and Bagram AB. Most of the clues are accessible by vehicle or at least in the general vicinity. Bagram is at 4980ft. The cache is a class act. It's an ammo box that has coffee mugs, Taliban money, DVD's, camera, phone card, tools, shot glass, Salerno coin, BRAUN Alarm clock and much more.

Prior to beginning your search on this Multi-Cache. You should go to the listed locations below and read about these fallen soldiers. Then obtain all numerical info from memorials of these Americans who made the ultimate sacrifice.
The numerical info includes the Unit’s they belonged to and the dates when they were Killed in Action (KIA).
Once you finally find the Cache you will be much more familiar with these men and remember their sacrifices.

Since there was little activity on this cache, I've made it a bit easier by also providing the info of the memorials below. If you want the extra challenge just line through the info following the double slashes // and get the info by going to the memorials themselves. A printed copy of this cache page and/or Paper and a Pen are needed for clue info. The Camp Cherry Beasley sign is currently down...use the info provided.

Please note that you will use Lat/Long on some clues and MGRS on others. So insure you know how to input the different Coords on your GPS

DANGEROUS?? BE CAREFUL AND OBSERVE ALL MINEFIELD MARKINGS. Insure you have nice swaps for the caches.

NOTE: GEOCACHERS! Help manage caches during your stay in Afghanistan. No one but the Afghans are here forever.
