Just a Nice Playground Traditional Cache
OReviewer: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. This microcache is located in a playground in Lower Macungie Township.
This microcache is a clear 35mm film cannister. It is hidden in a pretty little playground that has been recently renovated. There are tennis courts, swings, a brand-new climbing structure, picnic and park benches, a water fountain, and several gazebos. Alas, no bathrooms! There is a sunny sloped hillside for kites, frisbees, ballplaying, or just enjoying a sunny day.
The park is planted with a variety of mature trees, include maple, oak, pine, spruce - and even a weeping beech that forms a hiding place for the kids. The trees are lovely in autumn.
The cache contains a few plastic beads (just in case your kids are with you, and want some "treasure" out of the cache)and a paper log - but no pen, so please bring your own to sign the log.
