Breakfast in the SW Burbs 2 Event Cache

This cache has been archived.

Greenback: I see the IL Admin was kind enough to remind me to archive this event. I'd probably have forgotten for a while as I just got back from the United Kingdom,

Thanks to everyone who hid caches and to those who attended the event. I've already put in a request for snow the same weekend next year. Hope to see you all back then.

Geocache Description:

I held an event here roughly one year ago, we had the biggest snow storm of the year and still managed to fill the reserved room. Even with all the snow we had a big turnout and a lot of fun. I hope you'll be able to come and join me at the Golden Corral in Bolingbrook this year.

Where:
Golden Corral Restaurant
381 Brookview Lane
Bolingbrook IL 60440
Phone 630-771-1777

When:
Saturday January 21st 2006 from 8am to 10am

Price:
Ages 4-8 $4.19 plus tax
Ages 9-12 $5.99 plus tax
Age over 12 $6.99 plus tax

Gratuity:
I'm asking that each adult attending drop $1 in a tip bucket which I'll have next to the log book.

What do I get for $6.99?:
Breakfast buffet including coffee and juice but soda will be extra.

Directions for the GPS challenged:
Take Route 55 to Route 53, head north to Lily Cache Lane where you'll turn west and then turn in at the first street. This isn't really the best way but you'll see the Golden Corral Restaurant after you make this turn or before if you keep your eyes open:-)

Will there be any special event caches?:
I've asked a few local cachers for help placing caches. My hope is to have approximately ten new caches go live the week of the event so that everyone can load them prior to the event. This will eliminate the need for laptops and loading data.

Travel Bugs:
Travel bugs by design are a risk, you buy the tags and send them off to fend for themselves and you trust other geocachers to care for them. You are welcome to bring travel bugs to this event but no special measures will be taken, it's no different than when you drop a bug in any ammo can, what happens to it next is unknown. That is all part of the adventure of travel bugs.
