A short and interesting walk with varied terrain, although the early part up the field is prone to get very muddy. Route can be extended easily. Limited parking at the top end of Anglezarke reservoir is the closest start point. Some steep parts but nothing a child can't manage.
This is the first ever cache placed by the Geokippers! It was originally placed half a mile away but concern over accidental finding by geomuggles lead to a second expedition a week later to relocate to the current hidey-hole before logging the cache.
The Geokippers team includes two children aged 4 and 7, and a trip to this cache is a nice walk for children. There are several possible circular routes, and the Healey Nab cache can also be incorporated to make it a 2-cache trip!
The original contents of the cache are very child-friendly as they are all bits and pieces from the bottom of our toybox! If possible can this theme be continued as our children will be regular visitors!
