Bring some hiking boots and get ready for a walk!
It's located in/near a hunting area, so if you are planning on going, some blaze orange would be a good idea if you're heading out during hunting season.
Placed about .22 miles from a parking area, you'll find this small ammo box filled with lots of goodies.
This area has been a favorite of mine and is truly a beautiful place to visit...anytime of the year.
My 6 year old son helped us out today, so it's "Kid Friendly", but you will encounter a fair share of sticker bushes, branches that "whip" the person following right behind you and dead limbs that like to stab you in the eye.
We had decent accuracy with our Garmins, but I assume summertime and its tree cover will make this cache more difficult come the spring and summer months.
Bring some boots and get ready for a half mile roundtrip as you see some of the most beautiful country Western Maryland has to offer.
Inside the water tight ammo box, you'll find some neat stuff. A DVD, a caulking tool for removing old caulk, a drill bit, rubber balls, snakes, marbles and a log, pen and pencil.
