Geocache Description:

A quick and easy cache located at Hawkesbury junction.

This cache is situated at Hawkesbury Junction, also known as Sutton Stop.

It is at the junction of the Oxford canal with the Coventry canal. In its day it would be a hive of activity. Today there is a small marina for residential narrow boats, a pub and some moorings. During the summer months there is quite a lot of canal leisure traffic, otherwise it can be rather quiet.

The cache is right next to the canal so it is a cruise and dash. You can also drive to within 30' as well. Obviously as it is next to the canal take care with little cachers. Bring some bread and they can feed the ducks while you seek the cache.

Although not a travel bug hotel there is room for smaller TBs.
