Geocache Description:

A cache tucked into the rocks overlooking the beautiful Millard Canyon Falls north of Pasadena.

To get to the starting point, drive up Chaney Trail Drive in Altadena. Follow the winding raod all the way to the parking area at the bottom of Millard Canyon. Walk to the campground and then follow the trail to the falls...it's a pleasant half hour hike over rocky, bouldery terrain to the base of the 50 foot falls. Now the fun begins! Put your back to the falls walk downstream about 30 feet. Then look up and to the left and scramble up the steep rocky slope until you see a trail to your left. Follow the trail path toward the falls until you reach the point above the falls (judge your location by sound...it's not safe to look over the trail to try to spot the falls).
