This cache lies between a historical farm, a very nicely restored 1800s ranch, and a hysterical 2000s junk yard farm.
If you have some idea in you mind about what a true farm or country ranch should look like, then proceed up the hill a few hundred feet from the cache to see the Historic Elwood Ranch. But do not miss this once-in-a-lifetime chance to see the farm you never imagined. It is just west of the cache (down the hill a few hundred feet), you can't miss it. Enjoy the full measure of the experience and drive slow, roll down your windows, and soak it all in.
