This cache is located near a man-made "rabbit hole" just off a trail at the Spenceville Wildlife Area that is particularly scenic on foggy winter days. Round-trip distance is just under 3 miles, and it's easy, fairly level terrain. The trail can be muddy during the winter, but it's no problem if you have waterproof boots.
Park outside the gate at N 39 08.834, W 121 18.719, walk up the road about half a mile, turn left on the equestrian trail, and follow the trail and your GPS to the cache. It's an easy hide. The potentially dangerous "rabbit hole" is covered, so no need to worry about kids or dogs falling in. And if anyone knows the history of that hole, I'd love to hear about it.
Original contents include a water bomb, tennis ball, stickers, two Matchbox-type cars, a small deck of cards, Ninja action figures, and a keychain calculator.
