Another Sherlock adventure.
This time set in the small community park in Thompson Place
Recommended equipment: Yard/meter stick, compass,
Holmes received a letter from the house of Lord and Lady Byrde, founders of the Audubon Club of Thompson Place. Lord Byrde had found part of an old treasure map, and asked Sherlock to help them find the treasure. The map contained the following information:
A drawing of a right triangle with the measurement of one side of 36 inches at 132o magnetic and the adjacent, perpendicular side of 40.5 inches at 222o magnetic.
The instructions were to: Start at the white post with the coordinates: N47o 03.306, W122o 47.111 and pace off 226 feet at 132o
Could you find the treasure without further assistance?
The game’s afoot!
