Geocache Description:

BRIEF: Ammo can near the remains of a US Cavalry Outpost, Ft Newell. It was the barracks for a company of the Buffalo Soldiers of the 10th Cavalry that once patroled this area.

BACKGROUND: Naco, Arizona has the dubious distinction of being the only town in the continental US to be bombed by foreign aircraft. The US side was often riddled with stray (or not) bullets from the numerous battles on the Mexican side.
