The Great Dritz of Kibbibble Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Kosh Naranek: As this cache has been in need of maintenance for a period well in excess of the "few weeks" contemplated by the guidelines, and there's been no further action on repairing this cache, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache in the immediate future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it."

Geocache Description:

Take the I-210 to Windsor/Arroyo exit, go North. Park at the parking lot on the left just as the road makes a sharp right turn. You will see the fence to walk thru with the trail signs (Gabrielino Trail), take the road (not the one that heads down).

Black 3 X 5 container: log, pen and geostash.

WELCOME to The Eighth Wonder of the Ancient World. It is not known how this ancient wonder was put into place, several theories have been proposed. One theory involves the construction of a straight or spiral ramp that was raised. This ramp, coated with mud and water, eased the displacement of this wonder which was pushed (or pulled) into place. Even extraterrestrial-related theories have been proposed. We hope you have a mystic journey to the Great Dritz of Kibbibble.
** Be sure to dritz with little kibbibbles so the cache stays well hidden.

Kids can do this one even the younger ones. If you hike further than this with young kids you may want think about it. If you go past this cache, for hikers it's an easy level and enjoyable hike. For bikers, it's an easy bike ride all the way to "Staircase of Time" then hike onward for more caches unless don't mind it a little rough then go for it and have fun.

JPL is nearby so check out the website to see if they are giving tours or having any events while you are in the area.
