Short hike to an easy cache with a beautiful view.
Sure the Bennington lake area has quite a few caches, but do ever stop and take a good look at the view? On a clear day you'll get a great view of the Blue Mountains the Bennington lake area and some of the Walla Walla valley. The closest parking to the cache is at N46 04.049 W118 15.842. If you follow the trails from there it's about a 1.3 mile walk around the lake to the cache. If you go cross country it's about .3 miles one way. The cache is a small jug painted camo.
