Old Re-runs: "There And Back Again" Pinellas' 1st Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

The Infielders: A little short of a year and a half is long enough for this one. Fire got it and so did several geocachers. I guess Mother Nature's log is the one which will last forever. Thanks to all who visited.

Geocache Description:

This is the 1st cache of a series designed to pay tribute, tip the hat to, recognize and honor, and shed light on some of Tampa Bay's first caches.
Note: The coordinates for this cache are just slightly different from the original cache location.
And oh, the links in the following text are now accurate and working.

There and Back Again was placed on July 4, 2001 by Faithwalker & DaMama. It was Pinellas County's 1st Geocache. The cache lasted about a year and a half before being archived. An amazing 70 cachers found it. Take a look at some of the names. If you're a local cacher, you may recognize a few names but most are names you don't see anymore in the logs.
Enjoy the hunt, and as always when on Weedon Island, please keep your eyes open for snakes!
This cache was placed with permission of the county parks dept.
