Geocache Description:

A 1.5 litre plastic container.

Fryent Country Park comprises gently undulating ground, both woodland and open grassland where dogs walk their people. There are two ponds, one at the summit of Barnhill and one (which also has a small secondary pond associated with it) at the foot of the northern slope. Both have reed beds with resident moorhens and herons are frequent visitors. Parakeets also do regular fly-bys. The cache is located in hedgerow on the fringe of grassland at the foot of Barnhill. It can be approached by descending from the top of Barnhill (a descent of some 40 metres; parking for cars at N51 34.310 W0 16.700) or across flattish grassland from a carpark on Fryent Way (N51 34.537 W0 16.540). The ground may be marshy underfoot during wet spells.

NB - When there is an event at Wembley Stadium (an "event day"), street parking is available for permit holders only. Geocachers are advised to use the carpark on Fryent Way (N51 34.537 W0 16.540).
