Geocache Description:

Puzzle Cache. I made up the coordinates above. Read on and you'll see why...

I would have posted the true coordinates, but my GPS receiver is broken!
Please help!

As I was placing this cache, the GPSr broke while calculating the coordinates. And I was so disturbed about it breaking, I totally forgot even where I stashed the cache! (I can remember I was on dry land.) Luckily, a savvy friend was able to hack into the unit and retrieve some useful information. Here it is...

The GPSr had just synchronized with 3 satellites, and had saved their orbital positions and calculated distance from the cache information into memory:

Satellite
#1
#2
#3
Latitude
N 0° 00.000'
N 0° 00.000'
N 0° 00.000'
Longitude
W 100° 00.000'
W 125° 00.000'
W 160° 00.000'
Distance(mi)
13762.38369
13505.93258
14160.28279

I did some research and found that the GPS satellites orbit exactly 12,000 miles above the earth and that the earth's radius is exactly 4000 miles everywhere.

I've been told this is sufficient information for the motivated cacher to accurately locate the cache.

There is a reward for the first five finders who can help me locate my cache.
Thank you for your help!

Update, August 2006: The first location was found and the cache plundered!

Update, August 2006: The second location was hidden in a great tree - too great - and was found out right away. A third location - a dreaded micro in the middle of a forest - should be the last. The puzzle has been adjusted for the new location. Off the main trails, but close to secondary trails. Look for a five foot snag, and make sure to replace the cache well in its hidey-hole.
BYOP!
