Geocache Description:

A puzzle multi-cache based upon one of my favorite family-appropriate, slapstick, dingy, U-name-it! movie of the ultimate cache quest, here is an excuse to watch the movie again or for the first time!

And now for the caches clues! The caches and the clues are broken into 5 sets. Pop some popcorn and get going!

Part 1: Kick the Bucket
A1 = He started the Pacific Edible Seaweed Company.
B1 = She goes on and on about "Now what kind of an attitude is that, these things happen? They only happen because this whole country is just full of people, who when these things happen, they just say these things happen, and that's why they happen!".
C1 = He proposes to divide the $350,000 into 25 shares.
D1 = The number of vehicles with California license plates.
E1 = He says, "Everybody has to pay taxes. Even businessmen, who rob and cheat and steal from people every day, even they have to pay taxes."
F1 = Jerry Lewis (#67) drives over this person's hat.
Check sum = A1 + B1 + C1 + D1 + E1 + F1 = 25

Part 2: Dash for the Cache
A2 = He wins a bet that all of the vehicles will turn south at the crossroads.
B2 = He rides a girl's bike.
C2 = She says "No one is going to get me up in the air."
D2 = He has samples of desert flora in his machine.
E2 = He is a lifeguard who lives in Santa Rosita.
F2 = He wrecks the Ray and Irwin Garage
Check sum = A2 + B2 + C2 + D2 + E2 + F2 = 42

Part 3: Santa Rosita Convergence
A3 = He is on the phone with Billie Sue and Ginger at the same time.
B3 = He says, "And then they decide I'm supposed to get a smaller share, like I'm someone extra special stupid. Even if it is a democracy, in a democracy it don't matter how stupid you are, you still get an equal share."
C3 = He says, "You know what I need? I need a drink. There's some ice and stuff back there. Why don't you make us all some old fashioneds?".
D3 = He asks, "Do you hear bells, baby?"
E3 = He says, "As far as I can see, American men have been totally emasculated- they're like slaves! They die like flies from coronary thrombosis while their women sit under hairdryers eating chocolates & arranging for every 2nd Tuesday to be some sort of Mother's Day! And this infantile preoccupation with bosoms. In all my time in this Godforsaken country, the one thing that has appalled me most of all is this prepostrous preoccupation with bosoms. Don't you realize they have become the dominant theme in American culture: in literature, advertising and all fields of entertainment and everything. I'll wager you anything you like that if American women stopped wearing brassieres, your whole national economy would collapse overnight."
F3 = He gets locked in the basement of a hardware store.
Check sum = A3 + B3 + C3 + D3 + E3 + F3 = 44

Part 4: A Big Dub-A-Ya
A4 = He tells #34 Don Knotts, a nervous motorist, that he is Agent X-27.
B4 = How many cabs arrive at the park?
C4 = He knows everyone's name at the Big Dub-A-Ya dig.
D4 = He proposes 15 shares for 14 people.
E4 = She recognizes the Big Dub-A-Ya first while at a drinking water fountain.
F4 = He recognizes the Big Dub-A-Ya after falling down while chasing #8 Phil Silvers - Otto Meyer
Check sum = A4 + B4 + C4 + D4 + E4 + F4 = 41

Part 5: The Culpepper Chase
A5 = He has the suitcase with the 350 Gees.
B5 = Culpepper runs into and knocks her over twice.
C5 = He hangs off of a cab door and says that he almost "didn't make it."
D5 = (# of men who land on electric wires and get shocked) + (# of men who fall from the palm tree).
E5 = She slips on a banana peel to end the movie.
F5 = He says that they should all get onto the fire truck ladder "alphabetically".
Check sum = A5 + B5 + C5 + D5 + E5 + F5 = 32

Technically speaking, none of the caches are concealed by iceplant or other flora.

Each cache hidden would rate a difficulty of "1" to "2" stars individually.

None of the cache hides are considered camo hides.

Trees and coastal fog may affect GPS reception. Broaden your search area if necessary.

And each cache hidden is associated in some way with "wood".

Enjoy! And happy caching!
