Geocache Description:

Please be careful attempting to find this one. It is not a walk in the park.

You access the cache from the north at this location: N 37° 13.132, W 113° 15.683. If you have a decent 4x4 you can drive fairly close to the cache. If not you will have to hoof the .5 miles in. You can also come in from the east but I have no idea which road to take. DO NOT ACCESS the cache from the west. It is private property and it is illegal to park on the highway. Once you are close to the cache do not go all the way into the ravine. Stay about half way up the side on a well beaten trail until you are about 20-30 feet away. BE CAREFUL inching your way down to the hidden cave. It is a long way down. I rated it a 4 star terrain because of the last 20 feet. It is just barely short of a rappel.

This is not a cache for the faint of heart or the clumsy of step. Do not bring your children to this cache or your mothers-in-law. This location is where I used to climb and play as a kid, without my parents' knowledge of course. Down below, where the new subdivision is, there used to be remains of an old turkey farm where we played also. We would climb up the wash and work our way up the cliff to reach this cave. If you are daring enough, you can climb through the cave to reach the opening on the other side. I think I am a little to plump and claustrophobic to try it now. However, as a kid it was quite the rush. It holds many memories for me and I hope that you will have some to take home as well. Not a great location to receive satellite reception so look at the clue.

Touch ‘em all.

P.S. While you are here you can also log these two benchmarks that are near the road that leads you to the cache. (HO0336 and HO0335)
