Geocache Description:

A nice place to watch the boats and go for a stroll. Regular visitors to the area may well have missed this bit of history. The information board will tell all!

The cache is a small food container which has room for a small log book, a small pencil and a few small items. Make sure it is well hidden. I don't the river comes this high in the winter floods!

The area is well served with pubs two restaurants and a cafe by the lock. A popular Sunday afternoon spot.
