This cache is located on the I&M canal at one of the few remaining mule barns. Suggested parking is at the Dresden access (N41 24.275, W88 17.403). From there it is a 1/2 mile walk to the cache via a paved path.
The higher Terrain rating is due to the final 30 feet to the cache. I'll lower it a little after winter.
The mule barn is on private property, so please do not try to access the cache from there.
The initial contents incluse a Boys of Ladycacher geocoin as a first to find prize.
1. Geocache is placed on Department managed property with permission.
2. Do not place the following items in the Geocache: Food items,inappropriate,offensive, or hazardous materials.
3. It is the visitors responsibility to orient themselves with policies and rules pertaining to this Department managed site.
Update 4/27/06
I've been out to the cache site 3 times in the last week after getting the report of the snake. I haven't seen a snake, but decided to post a warning just in case. If the thought of running into a snake while negotiating steep terrain isn't your idea of a good time, you should skip this cache.
