This was once a dirt road. But now the Mother has made considerable progress in retaking what is her's.
In the past, the mesa was crisscrossed with dirt roads and was a pretty wild and woolly place. Over the past few years the rustic mesa has been paved over and civilized by developers. In fact the dirt road that this cache is locate on was passable up until a few months ago. Now there is a guard rail barrier blocking vehicle access.
While you are looking for this cache, be sure to look around - and maybe even take some photos of this endangered "old nipomo".
There are a couple of ways to access the cache, via Guadalupe road or Zenon Way. One leads you past a large puddle in the middle of the dirt road. Be sure to be prepared for walking through some mud. A coordinate that puts you on the right path is:
N 35 3.335
W 120 33.942
Good luck, have fun!
