The cache is located next to a sports ground South of Nelson.
There are different ways to reach the cache site, some shorter than others. The longest route would be no more than 500-600 metres from a parking place, the shortest about 20 metres.
The area caters for a wide variety of sports and is one of the oldest continually used sports fields in New Zealand.
The cache is a 700ml camo-painted screw top container. It intially contained a log book, pencil, one "signature" item and numerous trading items.
