A small LNL hidden in a natural setting that will one day be turned into a nature park.
This area was recently purchased and set aside to be used as a park. Aside from a couple of small signs at the entrance and some markers a little ways into the tree line, there's not much there now, but it looks like it should be a great park once its complete.
Why the name? This section of land is known as Moccasin Slough. Keep your eye out for the namesake and any related critters while you're hunting. Much of the ground is 'spongy', and the slough does lie between the entrance and the cache; if you look enough, and the water level hasn't risen too much, there is a spot that's an easy step across. Otherwise, hopefully you've been practicing your long jump.
