Geocache Description:

Located off the beaten path in the Clark State Forest

Whiskey Run. No I didn't hide this on the way to buy some Jack Daniels. This ammo box is located near Whiskey Run Creek. What a great name. Back in the era of Prohibition, several stills operated in this area. One day when the government agents raided the illegal distillery all the whiskey was hastily dumped into the nearby creek to avoid detection. From that time on the creek was known as Whiskey Run. If this story is not true it ought to be. Have fun and don't drink the water. There is a nice first finder's Buck to be had.
