Seeing how close this well is to the road, I struggled to find it -
driving past several times whilst hunting it. It is however worth
the hunt. It's a short scramble up a grassy bank. Wellies and a
torch would enhance your experience!
This set of seven Geocaches is based, if somewhat loosely on the
seven “Holy” Wells in the area of the Kernow Kachers Christmas 2005
Bash. The wells are the seven closest to St Tudy - I have not been
selective - They aren’t the seven prettiest wells or nicest wells -
in fact they cover the complete range of Holy wells, including the
good the bad and the ugly!
A word of warning - none of the caches are in or even close to any
of the wells - some are a few yards away - others maybe the best
part of a mile away.
Suggested Parking N 50° 29.831 W 004° 38.694
The Well is at N 50° 29.658 W 004° 38.737
The cache is now near another water feature and as far as I can
tell from my OS map - you'll be paddling in Holy Water as you
retreive this cache.
Wellies are very strongly recommended.
