Geocache Description:

Located at the top of a hill in Greer Ranch, to the east of New River Road and just south of Circle Mountain Road in New River. Quad or Polaris Ranger type vehicle will get you within 50 feet then a short hike up hill. My kids, ages 3 and 7, can easily make the hike. Or you can drive a regular car to within 1/2 mile and hike.

Cache is a small duct tape covered container hidden under a pile of rocks. Inside is a pencil, log book and a few small kid toys. Located at base of a Jojoba bush near the mine taillings, actually at the top of the mine. Mine also has a horizontal entrance part way down the hill which you can walk in but the cache is at the top of mine.

Addendum 9/29/07: as stated above, this cache is really intended to be accessed by a utility vehicle, I personally don't recommend driving a full size truck/car up the hill. There is a 50' deep vertical mine shaft on the north side of road going up. Difficulty and terrain ratings are based on using a utility vehicle.

Thanks for finding!
