Geocache Description:

Welcome to Brummy’s Berocca Cache Series.
The above coordinates are not that of the actual cache.
While this cache is a large ammo box. The name of this series should give you a number of clues as to the size and type of containers you are looking for and what will be required in order to complete the series. There are seven caches in total and they must all be found in one day.

Throughout Brisbane of late there have been a number of cache series where the hider has encouraged the searchers to take their time and even spend a whole day at each of the cache sights. We have then run off ignoring all of that and ploughed through the whole lot in a day or two.

This time things will be a little different. You will be taken to some nice places but you may only have time for a fleeting glimpse of each location.

There are seven caches in the series the last of which, ‘Berocca Gold’ will be your ultimate goal. The caches can be completed in any order although ‘Berocca Gold’ will obviously need to be done last.

The caches in the series are: Berocca Kholo, Berocca Western, Berocca Don’t Pay the Ferryman, Berocca Tubes, Berocca Pilly, Berocca Bamboo Raft and finally Berocca Gold.
Now here is the trick! All seven caches must be started and completed on the same day/ date (Brisbane time). If you falter and are unable to complete the series on the same day then you must start all over again visiting all caches on the same day/ date on the subsequent attempts.

I would strongly encourage all those attempting this series to do your homework and plan your attack early. With most of the caches in this series there are a number of directions they can be approached from but there is always one that is much shorter though not always as obvious. Use all of the resources you can mapping software, street directories, topo maps and a bit of clear thinking and you may get through this series in record time.

You should know roughly what you are looking for, a small aluminium tube with a white cap. In all cases except for ‘Berocca Gold’ the tube will be stuck in the ground with a rock or two covering the white cap. Under the cap you will find one sixth of the final coordinates and at the bottom of the tube you will note if that part relates to the ‘S’outh coordinate or the ‘E’ast. Make sure you take careful note of where the decimal point and degrees symbol are located.

S - - -°- -.- - E - - -°- -.- - -

Please clearly note the date and time of your visits in the cache logs and you may even want to put a stopwatch on yourselves through this one.

Some clever people may be able to work out the final location without doing so but all caches must be visited.
Happy Caching and don’t forget your vitamins.
