Geocache Description:

You are looking for a waterproof match container, painted to blend.

You don't have to go to Sulphur, OK to find a sulphur spring. This ancient free-flowing sulphur spring tested positive for multiple coliforms back in 1997, so don't even think about drinking the water. I hope the water smelled better when the pioneers drank here.

From the sign that was here as of March 2006, but is gone now:
During the settlement of Oklahoma, Early immigrants used the water for medicinal, drinking and household needs. Early Woodford residents walled the spring with a large hollow log, then enclosed it with a log fence. Years later, J.P. Taylor poured a concrete floor and built a fence and roof over the spring. The spring was donated to the Woodford Community by the J.P. Taylor family. Plaque by Eva Hitt November 1999
