Ice Breakers #3 Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

RedhedMary: [red]Sigh again. My 2nd IB cache to archive in two days. This one hadn't been found since April - in June I went to check on it at the request of a cacher who couldn't find it. It was still there. I added a geocoin as a find incentive. No logs since then so don't know when it was muggled but it's definitely not there today when I checked. (PLEASE - cachers - DO log your DNF's. It lets the cache owner know if there's a problem!)

Decided since this one has had over 150 successful finds it was time to give up the spot for a new cache rather than just replacing this one. Thanks to everyone who found it - I think this was the prettiest location of all my IB caches.

Geocache Description:

#3 in my Ice Breakers series

All of the ice breakers caches are hidden near ice (water if it's been thawed out) and are in an ice breakers mint tin, large enough for a few small trade items and the log.

THIS CONTAINER HAS BEEN CHANGED TO A SMALL BEACH SAFE AS THE ICE BREAKERS TINS GET RUSTY! (Please bring your own writing tool)

This cache is near a river, looks like a pretty spot year-round. Will have to watch for possible flooding in the spring.
