Trimblefox: Well, tex, thanks for the note. That sucks. I guess this kind of thing happens, though it's never fun. I suppose there's no point in putting one back there since somebody knows where it was. I feel bad for the 3 people who had TB's in there more than anything. So much for this cache. [:(]
Thanks to everyone who visited it while it was there.
The cache was hidden on the east side of the sewer right of way amongst the brush and fairly close to the edge of the creek. It had a rock sitting on the lid.
At the time of archival, the cache was missing.

Geocache Description:

This is a regular to large sized cache located in the vicinity of the Fiddler's Run shopping center in Morganton.

This is a fairly large plastic container with camo tape on it. It contains three bags: one that holds the log sheet, one for holding travel bugs/geocoins, and one for holding microcache containers.
The cache is located behind Fiddler's Run shopping center and is in between a creek and the right of way for a sewer outfall line. We were looking for a location that was off of the interstate, reasonably accessible, but also generally out of the view of muggles. Part of my actual job is to map sewer lines and that is how I came across this location. The sewer from Fiddler's Run runs into the sewer outfall line here and flows all the way across Morganton before reaching the sewer treatment plant. Hopefully the smell won't be too bad ;)
The following are "suggestions" for the cache, which are also printed on a sheet of paper that is attached to the log sheet.
Suggestions & Notes For This Geocache: Travel Bugs & Geocoins
1. If you think that you can help a travel bug or geocoin log some milage or get to its goal, feel free to take it without trading for it. However, if you have any travel bugs or geocoins that you can trade, that would certainly be appreciated as well. The objective is to help travel bugs and geocoins get closer to their goals. :)
2. You may certainly place a travel bug or geocoin in this cache, even if you do not plan on taking one out of it.
3. If any travel bugs become stuck in the cache for too long, this cache’s owners may retrieve them and move them along to another location.
Micro Cache Containers
1. You may take any of the micro cache containers located in this cache without trading anything for them. Any micro cache containers placed in this cache by its owners will already have a log sheet in them. This is done in the hope of quickly generating new caches in the area.
2. If you would like to place any micro cache containers in this cache, that would certainly be appreciated as well. If for some reason, you happen to find any items besides travel bugs, geocoins, or micro cache containers in this cache, you may trade for them like normal items in any other geocache.
Please make an effort to help the travel bugs and geocoins that you take from this cache so that they can reach their goals.
