Gone is the favoured haunt of many. Its red brick walls are but a
memory; the trees heaving with lush foliage an
ferns, the gurgling fountain, the secret nooks for secret lovers -
all gone. In its place, a gleaming beacon of chrome and glass that
towers above its neighbours. Shiny, glossy, spacious, clean, lots
of light. But it doesn't have the homey comfort that you get as
from well-worn shoes.
And this is where you'll find the cache. It's a micro one
because, as with all things shiny and new, this location is watched
over with zeal. Guards and cleaners everywhere. Once your GPS unit
has found this building, you won't need it anymore. Complete the 4
steps below to get to your final destination - a quiet place to
retreat.
Step 1
Go to the basement. Look for the row with ONLY this number
and no others:
741.5
This row has A shelves.
Step 2
If you’re lucky, you’ll get a ride up in one of those bubble lifts
which give a breath-taking view on their heart-stomping rush up to
the top. The lift numbers are B, C and D.
Step 3
Take the lift to level (A+2). Enter a place named after a
well-known local philanthropist. Look for this: R581.70913 CHA - A
Periplus publication. Turn to page 18 for the name of an item. Take
note of the item's FULL name.
Step 4
Go to level (B+C+D+1). Here you will find the quiet place of
greenery. Look for the name you found in Step 3, the common name
you’ll be familiar with. You will see this name in a concrete
structure with a built-in bench. This is where you'll find the
cache.
Note: Please be careful with the container and no
pictures of it. Please bring a pen to sign the log.
