Anne Bonney's Pirate Cache Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

General Disarray: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Anne Bonney was an infamous female pirate born in the 1690s. She ran away from her husband and joined up with Calico Jack Rackham aboard his pirate ship in the Caribbean. Another female pirate, Mary Read, was part of the crew. The three of them were eventually caught due to the crew being drunk when they were boarded by soldiers. Only Anne and Mary were sober enough to fight. Jack was hanged after Anne scolded him thus: "Had ye fought like a man, Jack, ye would not now have to die like a dog." Check out more on these women at: (visit link)

The cache is an ammo box with pirate logo. It was stocked with: log and pencil, pirate game, eyepatch & earring, flintlock pistol keychain, skull & crossbones bandana, pirate sticker, deck whistle, and - for the first-to-find - a treasure chest with gold doubloon. Please try to maintain our pirate theme (if possible). Have Fun . . . or should I say: Arrrrrrrr Mateys, go and get 'er!

Congrats to Jave042 for the FTF. If only you were OU fans! Go Sooners.
