Geocache Description:

Note! The cache is not located at the posted coordinates! You must find Can Can 1 and 2 to get the coordinates for this cache! A medium lock-n-lock hidden traditionally. Be sure to get the clue under the cover for the final, Can Can 19. After replacing make sure the cache is not visible.

Please note: While not a restricted area this is an Oak Savanna which is a "Ecological Management Site". Please use the listed trailheads for caching in the area. For more information see the sign at the Washington Bl Trailhead for more information. Please tread lightly and CITO!

Out of the floodplane for your geocaching pleasure. Within 20 feet of the trail.

This Geocache is located somewhat near railroad tracks.

Do not cross the tracks! Park to the east and take the access road south of the tracks!

Or.. of course, take the bike path. :) The path has access under the tracks and is the recommended way.

A GeoGolf Adventure!

This is a series of 19 caches which will take you along the Des Plaines River Bike trail.

The Series can be done in triads (3 at a time) or all at once.

I have ridden these trails since I was 10 and I hope you enjoy them as much as I did.

Thanks to 'The Lone Ranger' team for bringing this concept to the Chicago area!

* This is a new cache at a new location. If you have already found this cache before 12-1-08 please feel free to hunt, find and log this cache again. Have fun!

Daredevil Hill

First constructed as a backstop for a shooting range used by the local law enforcement agencies. Sometimes my friends and I would hear gunshots and race over to see what was going on. Sometimes they would even be using automatic weapons.

The mound became a source of enjoyment summer and winter alike.

The double dipper hill to the south is the namesake hill and if you build up enough speed on the first hill you can become airborne for quite a distance coming off of the second.

The rolling hill to the east is called Rolley Coaster. Taken at a medium speed, it can be quite fun.
