Located in one of the coolest places in Lubbock - this Spiders' Nest is atop a hill overlooking Canyon Lake no. 6.
Beware - for spiders enjoy hiding out in their nest. Atop a hill among mountain bike paths you will find a cache full of crawly creatures living a "hard" life. Beware of the real crawly creatures however. Lizards, snakes, and even real tarantulas might call this area home when the weather allows. And one must not forget about the rolly creatures that frequent this area either - our friends on the mountain bikes. So keep a "sharp" eye, and enjoy.
Please remember to replace cache as you found it - well hidden. If you follow the mountain bike trail up the hill, keep eyes and ears open for men, women, and kids coming through on two wheels.
