Geocache Description:

Terrain is nearly level, and elevation is a few feet above sea level, close to the bay.

The cache is located in Washington Park at the western tip of Anacortes. Large beautiful cedars set a foreground to what is a magnificant view of the Guemes and Bellingham Channels and some of the San Juan Islands. This is an outdoor recreation area, offering boating, fishing, picnicking, playing ball, you name it. A couple of open shelters are located here and are often the focus of family outings.

Free parking is located on higher ground to the south. The cache is only a short walk away. Muggle activity is frequent, and this cache is best found in the early morning hours or during normal working weekdays, or during times of heavy rain and winds.

The cache is a small camo lock'n'lock, and contains a small pencil with logbook, and some assorted trinkets.
