A little bushwacking required - follow trail till you are right near the cache.
This is one of two caches we placed to replace our very first Homestead cache that went missing earlier in the year. There are many ways to get to this one but we suggest
parking at the Hardtimes parking lot in Bent Creek at N 35 29.266 and W 082 37.454. From there take the scenic Homestead Trail and follow your GPS. As is the case out here, take a few minutes to let your GPS settle down once you get close. Enjoy the lake while you are out here - it is pretty any time of the year.
