Geocache Description:


This is a three stage multi located in Pizzurro Park. The park is now set up as a large dog park. Bring your pooch for a run and some excerise.
This area is actually in a hollow made out by Big Walnut Creek which runs along the southern edge of the park. The flood plain is evident when driving down the narrow roadway. To the south is the Airport Golf course which can be seen several times while traveling along the river road. While in the park you are actually on the approach path for Port Columbus Airport between runways 28L and 28R. You are bound to see aircraft taking off or on approach during your visit. Many signs of deer have been spotted in this area so be on the look out and let us know if you find any shed deer antlers. Gahanna police visit this area often so the park has been clean for some time now.
The park does close at dark so plan accordingly. Heavy rains and flooding could also close the park from time to time.

Stage one of this cache is listed in the coordinates above and this is where you will find an object that gives you the needed information to locate stage two.

When you find stage two it will give you the coordinates for the finial stage which will be an ammo box full of trade items. The finial will require a hike and some bushwacking. There is parking directly south of the finial stage near the picnic tables and shelterhouse. Have fun and be safe.
