Pretty in Pink, Calgary Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Cache Effect: As there's been no cache to find for a long time, I'm archiving it to keep it from showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

Please note that if geocaches are archived by a reviewer or Geocaching HQ for lack of maintenance, they are not eligible for unarchival.

Geocache Description:

A micro in a nice area - bring your puppy for a stroll

This camouflaged micro will take you on a short stroll from the parking lot. Accuracy was 4.0 meters with about 150 sample coords so you should be able to get pretty close to the cache.

Lots of people walking their dogs so a little bit of stealth may be required.

You MAY need a slim bladey thing to get to the log, depending on the weather and season.

NOTE : Bring a pencil

Even though I have the NOT IN WINTER attribute set, it can obviously be found in the winter .... it just may be a tough hunt so be prepared if you're looking for this when there is snow around.

Additional info, added July 31, 2011:
- You are not looking for a bright pink micro container that is in plain view. The pictured container must have been replaced before I adopted it from nicolo.
- When resealing the container (including any similar micro or nano):
-- Don't simply roll up the log, drop it into the container and then screw on the lid. Doing so will usually crush the log. It is very easy to get paper jammed into the threads, making it hard to close properly. Invariably, the container will only be partially closed and when things get wet the paper will swell, making it almost impossible to open bare-handed.
-- Do roll the log up and insert one end into the inside of the cap. Slide the body of the container over the scroll and screw the pieces together. Don't overtighten! Just a quarter turn or so after the rubber gasket is in contact.
