Bag A Badge At My Geocoin Hotel Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

The Mighty Shark: It is with great regret that I have to announce that as of today this hotel will permanently close its doors for business.
Not because of the current world recession but for the following 2 reasons.

Firstly, the 2 micro caches employed to show people the way, were always leaving their posts and I was having to find new employees to replace them which was beginning to happen far too frequently.

Secondly, although the cache location has never been a problem and has been retrieved safe and well its location is far from the peaceful, green belt of land that it was when the hotel opened its doors for business back in 2005.
in fact it looks more like a building site more reminiscent of one of the Spanish costa's [:P] (photo attached)

May I take this opportunity to thank all who have been to visit and for all the kind words left in the visitors books over the years.
Can I also apologise to those who were part way through finding this hotel but as there are a number of caches now placed in and around this area (including a brand new one today) I'm sure its closure will not be missed for long [:(]

One final note to add that I will place all current cache contents in caches that I will hopefully find in the very near future.

Geocache Description:

This is a 3-stage multi, set on the area of the chase known as Shoal Hill

G:UK cache rating

The above co-ordinates are for the suggested parking. (room for 8 cars.) To find the final cache location you first have to find the 2 micro caches using the co-ordinates given below. Don't forget to take a pen.

Micro Number 1 will be found at N 52.41.928 W 002.02.752
This will give the North co-ordinates for the final location.

Micro Number 2 will be found at N 52.42.333 W 002.02.676
This will give the West co-ordinates for the final location.

The final cache is a small plastic box and at the time of setting up this cache, there were 4 Geocoin guests. 1 x UK, 1 x EU, 1 x German, 1 x Canadian.

It would be great if there were Geocoins in residence at all times so please try to replace any Geocoin taken with another.

There are first to find, second to find and third to find certificates. Once these are gone the cache box will be replaced with a smaller one suitable only for badges and Geocoins.

Can you please make sure that all caches are properly hidden as they can be easily spotted if left exposed as they are all on main footpaths.

Although they may not always be the most direct route, I suggest you stick to the public footpaths as they are the easiest and will give a better signal as there is less tree cover. You may encounter some keep out signs along the way (depending on which route you take) so please take care and do not climb over fences. There is no need to steer from the public footpaths provided.

Happy hunting….
