Here's a trip on the boardwalk! The terrain is pretty easy. Stairs from the north and a wheelchair ramp down from the south. Plenty of free roadside parking in the prettiest spot along the crescent beach.
This cache is located along one of the largest bodies of fresh water in the world. Home to a thriving sportfish industry the shores of this quiet lakeside community jump into action in May and remain productive to the persistant angler through mid November. If you are looking to catch your limit in Salmon or sunrises and sunsets(offshore) this is an ideal location. Enjoy the stop and visit here often. A quiet lakeside community with heritage and a window to the past. The view from here hasn't changed in hundreds of years. Perhaps you will catch a glimpse of the past.
If there are people passing through....be patient have a seat and wait for "coast to clear". No digging sand required.
