A wonderful park which allows snowmobiling in the winter, and great
wildlife views year round. In the summer enjoy the blacktop paths
and walk from down by the river into Chaska for a cup of Joe.
The muggle content maybe high and you will need to be careful
not to give this location away.
FTF don't follow footsteps in the area of the placer as I took a
long round about way into and out of this cache. I also took the
time to put lots of misleading steps all over the place.
The trails are Handicap accessable but the cache itself is
not.
Happy New Years! A gift to start the year out right.
This is the first cache I have ever placed, suggestions,
comments, etc a welcome.
Make sure to replace Decoy piles when you are done, these don't
need to be exact just be there. They are part of the fun of the
hunt.
There are more survey markers in the area and along the trail so I
will be keeping a close eye on this one and will disable if needed.
The path was icy today and I almost took a couple spills so be
careful out there.
Lastly, while there I heard several gunshots, asssume it was
hunters. I don't know if they were poaching or not, as the sign
does say there is some hunting allowed Sept to March, but it is a
general sing and I am not sure it applies to the park. The shots
were quite a distance away but it is defiantly something to be
aware of.
