Teams must provide their own means of transportation and GPS unit;
(a camera crew is optional). Teams will not receive any additional
money for this leg of the race.
The listed co-ordinates are for a parking spot near the
destination cache for the second leg of the race. Inside the
destination cache for the second leg of the race will be a single
waypoint (given in the UTM Nad83/WGS84 system) for the following
Road Block.
Road Block: A task in which usually only one member of
the Team may participate. However in this version of the Race, all
members of the Team are free to help complete the task.
Road Block: Off-set Circle Cache
Teams must drive themselves to the clue waypoint location
provided in the second destination cache.
The waypoint is 25 metres from the Pit Stop (the final
cache) for this leg of the race. This is a standard off-set cache
but no 'direction' is given so teams much search along the
circumference of an imaginary circle with a radius of 25 metres
centred on the waypoint. The cache is under a large rock and is not
in the woods. The cache shouldn’t be too hard to locate but teams
that don’t search carefully could find themselves going around and
around in circles.
For the enjoyment of other teams following you, please take a
moment to rehide the caches a little better and in the exact same
spots you found them in.
This is the final Pit-Stop for the Race. Congratulations!
There's no finish line, no TV cameras, no million dollars, no
fabulous prizes or anyone waiting for you. Just the satisfaction of
completing the race. The cache will have a log book for teams to
record the completion of the final leg of the race.
The theme for trading items in this cache is......Travel!
We hope you enjoyed this series of caching challenges.
