Tung-Mao Mt. Trail is located in Kukuan, Hopin, Taichung, Taiwan. It is very close to Tai 8th provincial highway.
Tung-Mao Mt. is one of the seven big mountains in Kukuan. The highest peak of Tung-Mao Mt. is about 1690 meters.
If you drive, you can follow the Tai 8th provincial highway to arrive at one archway of a temple (N24 10.231 E120 56.531). Then, the starting hiking point (N24 10.510 E120 56.643) will be not too far from there.
It will spend you 5 to 6 hours to make a round trip. During the trip the views are so beautiful. When you arrive the peak, you can see the beautiful scenery from any direction. Believe me it's worthwhile to visit it!
